Meet Cloak and Dagger

In this Sunday's episode of "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors," Spidey meets the mysterious duo of Cloak and Dagger! Who are these two? Are they friends or foes? Learn more about Cloak and Dagger's history from the comics before seeing them in their premiere in "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. ET on Disney XD!

Name: Cloak/Tyrone Johnson and Dagger/Tandy Bowen

First Appearance: SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #64

Powers: Despite Cloak and Dagger having similar experiments performed on them, their powers are opposite of one another.

Cloak can manipulte Darkforce energy to teleport himself and anyone inside his cloak to a different dimension and back again. This allows him to bring foes to another dimension and leave them there, while friends can come along for the ride and back again, essentially creating an interdimensional shortcut that can teleport with.

Dagger's powers are tied a "life-force" that lets her throw daggers of light that drain power from anyone she hits. She can also use this energy to detoxify people and her athletic abilities make her very agile. Together, the two complement each other in their abilities to manipulate the light and the darkness.

Origin Story: Tyrone grew up in a rough neighborhood in South Boston, Massachusetts and struggled with a stutter. Ths stutter prevented him from being able to call for help when his friend needed it, so he ran away to New York City.

Feeling unloved by her self-centered mother and abandoned by her father, Tandy ran away from a small town in Ohio to New York City with dreams of being a dancer. She befriended Tyrone when he stopped a mugger from trying to steal her purse, and, both being alone in the big city, struck up a friendship.

Tyrone and Tandy were offered food and shelter, and being runaways, were in need of both. Unfortunately, this was just a trap. The Maggia was testing a new drug that was stronger and more addictive than heroin, and Tyrone and Tandy were their next test subjects. Luckily, the duo were the first to survive the powerful drug and it also granted them their powers over light and dark.

Because of their time on the streets and that they got their powers from a drug, Cloak and Dagger concentrated most of their efforts on street level crime like muggers and drug dealers, but have still been involved in bigger events. During Civil War, Cloak and Dagger were contacted by Captain America to help transport other heroes who opposed to Superhuman Registration Act, which they were happy to do.

During Dark Reign, Dagger was contacted by Norman Osborn to join his team of Dark X-Men. Knowing that he could erase her criminal record, both her and Cloak accepted. Feeling uneasy about siding with Osborn, Cloak and Dagger left and joined the mutants on Utopia.

Keep watching "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" every Sunday on Disney XD to learn more about Cloak and Dagger!

Meet Amadeus Cho

In this Sunday's episode of "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors," Spidey meets his intellectual match in Amadeus Cho! Cho gives Parker and his Iron Spider suit a run for their money at the science fair, as you'll see in this Sunday's "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" at 9:00 a.m. ET on Disney XD! Learn more about Amadeus and the Iron Spider below!

Name: Amadeus Cho

First Appearance: AMAZING FANTASY (VOL. 2) #15

Powers: Amadeus is the seventh smartest person on the planet and has a "hypermind" capable of making an infinite number of calculations at incredible speed, almost at that of a computer.

Origin Story: Amadeus took part in, and won, a "young genius" contest and with his level of genius being apparent, the contest organizer, Pythagoras Dupree, wanted to have him killed. His house was blown up and Amadeus survived the attack, but his parents didn't. With nowhere to call home, Amadeus took to the road and befriended a coyote pup along the way, which he named "Kirby."

Amadeus crossed paths with Hulk, who saved Amadeus, and he then only ever saw Hulk as a hero. When Hulk came back to Earth seeking revenge for being sent into outer space, Amadeus gathered Hulk's friends to talk sense into him. In the process, Amadeus striked up a close friendship with Hercules.

Amadeus reminded Hercules of a former young companion who died, so Hercules teamed up with Amadeus for many adventures. One of these adventures led Amadeus to confront Dupree, who challenged Amadeus to a deadly game of wits, which Dupree ultimately lost.

Name: Iron Spider

First Appearance: AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #529

Powers: Grants flight to the owner, is bullet and flame proof, has hand repulsors similar to those of Iron Man, three arms to manipulate, and an air-filter to remove toxic fumes.

Origin: Designed by Tony Stark during  Civil War for Peter Parker when he sided with Iron Man. Unbeknownst to Peter, the suit gave him advantages in combat while also relaying information secretly to Tony about how Peter's spider sense worked.

Tony secretly installed overrides to the Iron Spider so that if Peter switched sides, Tony could remain in control. Luckily, Peter knew about these overrides and disabled them when he ultimately switched sides and threw away the suit. The suit's design was later used by the Initiative for a secret task force known as the "Scarlet Spiders," who were clones of the hero MVP.

Amadeus's smarts are a perfect match with the Iron Spider's strength, as his intelligence makes him quick to learn any computer systems. Amadeus seems to know more about the suit than even Peter! Stay tuned to "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" to see what Amadeus and the Iron Spider are capable of, for better or for worse!

Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors - Meet Vulture

In tonight's episode of "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors," Spider-Man comes face to beak with Vulture! Before you see his debut on the series, learn a little bit more about Vulture's history in Marvel comics. Tune in to "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors" tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET on Disney XD to see a slightly younger, slightly less evil Vulture in action!

Name:  Adrian Toomes/Vulture

First Appearance: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #2 (1963)

Powers:  Vulture's artificial wings allow him to fly, as well as heighten his strength, speed, and stamina. He is highly intelligent and his mechanical engineering skills help him make upgrades to his wings in hopes of taking down Spider-Man.

Origin Story: Adrian Toomes ran a business with a man named Gregory Bestman, with Toomes creating inventions and Bestman handling the funds. Toomes invented a harness with wings, and in his excitement to tell Bestman, uncovered the fact that Bestman had been embezzling funds from their company the whole time. Enraged, Toomes realized the power granted to him by his invention and turned towards a life of crime.

Vulture was one of the first super villains that Spider-Man had faced, having only been Spider-Man for a few weeks. This built Vulture's confidence to the point that he challenged authorities to catch him and committed crimes in broad daylight. Vulture was caught and imprisoned, but not for long, as he used tools in the prison workshop to escape. Eventually, with Spider-Man having more experience, Vulture was locked away indefinitely.

It wasn't long before Vulture was broken out of prison, with thanks to Doctor Octopus. Doctor Otto Octavius approached Vulture with an offer to join the Sinister Six, claiming he'd finally found a way to defeat Spider-Man. A plan was devised that each member of the Sinister Six, including himself, Electro, Mysterio, Sandman, and Kraven the Hunter, would fight Spider-Man one-on-one. Unfortunately for the Sinister Six, it takes more than that to defeat Spider-Man, and their plan failed. Vulture has had close ties to the Sinister Six ever since.

Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors - Meet Ka-Zar

Things are going to be getting a little more savage this week on "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors"! Spider-Man swings by the Savage Land where he meets Ka-Zar and his pet "kitty" Zabu. Learn more about Ka-Zar's origins before he debuts in "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors" and see him in action this Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. ET on Disney XD.

Name:
Kevin Plunder/Ka-Zar

First Appearance:
UNCANNY X-MEN #10 (1963)

Powers: What he lacks in superhuman abilities, Ka-Zar makes up for in primal skills like hunting, tracking, and all other survival skills. Being able to stay alive in the Savage Land also requires Ka-Zar have peak physical fitness, strength, and agility.

Origin Story: While Lord Richard Plunder was exploring Antarctica, he stumbled across a tropical forest which would come to be known as the "Savage Land." The Savage Land was an experiment by the Beyonders to study evolution on Earth, which resulted in many of Earth's prehistoric creatures still existing in this land, along with new and unheard of species.

Richard was attacked by a group of "Man-Apes," a species unknown to man that only existed in the Savage Land. Richard didn't survive the attack and was survived by his infant son who accompanied him, Kevin. When the Man-Apes set their sights on Kevin, a saber-toothed tiger intervened and saved the infant.

This saber-toothed tiger, known as Zabu, took the infant back to the Land of the Mists, a place where the Man-Apes dared not to go. While there, Zabu taught Kevin how to survive as an orphan in the Savage Land. This is where Kevin honed his strength, stamina, and honed his survival skills.

The bond between Kevin and Zabu is one of legend. When word spread of Zabu rescuing this infant, the Man-Apes began referring to the human child as "Ka-Zar," which translates to "Son of the Tiger."

The Savage Land has avoided civilization and is generally a place that is visited by heroes and villains alike. Ka-Zar and Zabu are survivors in this dangerous land and are quick to assist any heroes who seek their help. Over the years, Ka-Zar has assisted the X-Men, Mockingbird, Spider-Man and Daredevil.

Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors - Meet Morgan Le Fay

Morgan Le Fay is coming to this week's episode of "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors" and she's bringing all of her magic spells with her! In a special crossover event with the cast of the Disney Channel's "Jessie," Spider-Man finds himself trapped with Morgan Le Fay in the history museum on Halloween night. Prepare for the magic and mystery by learning more about Le Fay and make sure to watch the Halloween special this Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel.

Name: Morgan Le Fay

First Appearance: THE BLACK KNIGHT #1

Powers: Her magical abilities, granted to her from being half faerie and having studied under the sorcerer Merlin, allow her to cast powerful spells, create illusions, shape-shift into animals and fly. She can astral project her spirit out of her body, making her virtually immortal.

Origin: Morgan was born in the sixth century to a woman so beautiful that a war was started by Uther Pengragon in hopes of stealing her from her then-husband. Uther wed her mother and had a son with her whom everyone loved more than Morgan, making her resent her half-brother Arthur along with the rest of her family.

Both Morgan and Arthur were ignored by their parents, leaving Morgan to take care of Arthur. Merlin stole Arthur away from the family, causing Morgan's mother to become even less interested in her children. Eventually, Morgan's aunt Vivienne, Lady of the Lake Avalon, took Morgan under her care. Under the tutelage of Vivienne and Merlin, Morgan honed her magical abilities, as she was being groomed to become the next Lady of the Lake.

Through astral projection, Morgan sent her spirit into present day where she met, and was defeated, by Spider-Woman. Impressed by Spider-Woman's abilities, Morgan attempted to force her into indentured servitude, but failed. However, she was able to separate Spider-Woman's spirit from her body in an attempt to take over Spider-Woman's physical form, but Morgan was defeated by the Avengers and Doctor Doom. Morgan also attempted to inhabit the body of Lisa Russell, but was defeated by Iron Man.

At one point, Doctor Doom and Iron Man were transported back to Camelot and Doom came to Morgan to help rescue his mother from Mephisto. She agreed so long as he would command her army of undead warriors, but she was defeated by Iron Man. This started a romantic relationship between Morgan and Doctor Doom, and after he was able to get control of immortal warriors that he used to battle the Mighty Avengers, he was defeated and she was left waiting for him to return.

Morgan eventually caught up with Doctor Doom to seek revenge for his betrayal. Morgan originally planned on killing Victor von Doom as a child, but wanted Doom to know why this vengeance was taking place. The Dark Avengers aided Doom when Doom and Iron Patriot went back to the sixth century to try to prevent her time-traveling. Every time Morgan was killed, she would reappear, but Doom was able to successfully cast a spell that sent her back to 1,000,000 B.C.

Morgan returns this Friday when she battles Spider-Man and the cast of Disney's "Jessie" in a special Halloween episode of "Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors" that airs at 9:30 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel! Cameron Boyce: It takes a week; three days of rehearsal and two days of shooting to make a "Jessie" episode. On an animated series, depending on how many lines you have, it takes between 20 minutes and two hours, if you have a lot of material. You stand in a booth and give a couple different line readings and then you move on to the next line. And you don’t have to look attractive so it’s awesome.

Karan Brar: Recording voices for an animated show versus a live-action is completely different because in live-action, we can use our body language to help with our acting. In animation, we have to rely only on our voices, which tends to be hard at times!

Peyton List: The difference was I had to be more energetic with my voice so I had to work a lot harder.

Marvel.com: What was your reaction when you found out that you’d be lending your voices to “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors”?

Cameron Boyce: I was excited! I've done voice-over stuff before so it wasn't new to me, but I love spending time with my castmates. It was a fun day!

Karan Brar:
When I heard I was gonna be in the show I freaked out because I'm such a big Spider-Man fan! It was a real dream come true.

Marvel.com: What was your favorite part about voicing a character for "Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors?"

Peyton List: There’s so much history to the character and pop culture surrounding Spider-Man. The fact that our cast has now become associated with such an iconic character is a big deal for all of us.

Marvel.com: Were you a fan of Spider-Man or any other Marvel super heroes before your guest spot in the show?

Cameron Boyce: X-Men is absolutely my favorite bunch when it comes to super heroes.

Karan Brar: I actually am a huge fan of Spider-Man, along with tons of other Marvel super heroes like Iron Man and Thor!

Marvel.com: What is your first Spider-Man and/or Marvel memory?

Peyton List: Spencer [List's twin brother] and I filmed a part for "Spider-Man 2" when we were five-years old, and we were arguing over how to spell "Spider-Man."

Marvel.com: Have you ever dressed up as a Marvel super hero for Halloween?

Cameron Boyce: I dressed up like the Hulk when I was really little! I have pictures of me with these giant green hands on, it looks like I was off-balance because the hands were so big!

Karan Brar: Yeah! Back in first grade I dressed up as Spider-Man. I was a huge Spider-Man fan.

Marvel.com: If you could join any of the Marvel super hero teams, which would you join?

Cameron Boyce: X-Men absolutely! I love the whole concept; it would be a blast to go to Professor X's school.

Karan Brar: I would join the Avengers because everyone in the group is awesome!

Marvel.com: If you could have any Marvel super hero crossover into “Jessie,” who would it be?

Cameron Boyce: The Hulk! That would make for an interesting plot.

Karan Brar: I would probably bring Iron Man on the show since I think the Iron Man suit is super cool.
